Personal Expressions, Inc. was founded by Linda and John Palkowski in 2003. Prior to starting our business we both worked in corporate America – Linda was a department head for a Fortune 500 company and John was supervisor at a customer service call center. We were both caught up in a layoff within a month of each other. We are currently a home based business which allows us flexibility of balancing family and work activities. We started with a small home embroidery sewing machine and sold items on Ebay as well as personalized clothes for our children and extended family members. As our business has grown, we have added more equipment and currently have three commercial machines that allow us to provide long-lasting, professional products. Our goal is to move into a storefront location in the next year. This business adventure is one that we enjoy and gain much personal satisfaction from.
We have three children ranging from a college graduate to two grade school children that we adopted. In our spare time we are involved with church and school activities.
